Is it realistic to expect to find a Senior-level candidate with a CPA for an industry role? We’ve posted a fully remote position, and given the current job market, I anticipated a strong applicant pool. However, we've only received a handful of applications so far—and none from candidates who already hold a CPA.

Anyone have insight how long it will take after a panel interview to get word on whether the position is going to be offered or not? Recommendations on follow ups with HR to find out status?

- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)

- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up
