Is it unusual that I opened a new credit card a few weeks ago and I haven’t gotten any sort of alert about it? For reference, I have Life Lock and Mint and in the past, both of those have alerted when I opened a new card (for mint, it was just in the form of “your credit score dropped”). It’s been several weeks and I’ve spent a solid amount of $$ on it so just trying to figure out why I haven’t gotten the usual alerts

Where are After-Tax 401(k) and employer contributions tracked by the IRS? It doesn’t look like they’re on W2. I know the employer + employee contributions have a $58,000 max for 2021. If I worked at two companies and had match + Roth + After-Tax exceed 58k, how would Uncle Sam know?

If I’m right on the cusp of hitting the contribution reductions for a Roth IRA for 2021 (will potentially have a greater than $125k AGI depending on bonus amount, but likely won’t exceed $130k), what should I do? I can fully find the $6k right now to a Roth, fund like $5k and then wait until June when I find out my bonus amount to decide what to do with the rest, or should I just do an IRA->Roth conversion just to be safe?

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm doing patent work. I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).
