I am from Deloitte and I can assure you that even experienced hires at the C level rarely hit 125K, it’s one of the, if not the, highest of the highest you can hit at that band. The more common salary number for Consultant level at Deloitte is something between 90-100K.

It’s not apples to apples. Deloitte’s business, brand, and expectations of employees I would assume are different which warrants the $$$. You could always apply (changing jobs always increases salary) and boomerang back or something
There’s really not much diff between PwC or Deloitte or frankly EY in terms of business, brand and expectations.
I’ll say this, I interviewed around for M roles at a bunch of firms, and PWC was the only one that not only came in ridiculously under my current comp, but was unwilling to discuss negotiations around salary. My other offers were higher than the new SM band salary at PWC as well, so it seems like it’s lagging badly.
I’m coming in as a SM and thought the comp was very competitive. 200k base
