I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . Is 125k $ base a fair value for or I can pitch higher? They have a 15 to 20 % bonus on top of base pay and a 10% match on 401k which the recruiter keep highlighting.

I'm going to accept an offer that's 150k+🎉 I'm a single filer, no kids. I'll be able to max out: 401k, HSA, but from my understanding, I will not qualify to utilize IRA? Aside from building a 6-month emergency fund (HYSA), what are potential next investment vehicles? I do know I want to start purchasing real estate for cash flow. But what about mega-backdoor Roth IRA? I'll admit, I still need to read more on it.

My portfolio has been stagnant for a week now. Last few times this has happened, market has tanked. Anyone else feeling we’re at an event horizon soon?

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Any suggestions how to handle the credit card debt without racking up tons of ongoing card interest?

I'm under contract for a new build in progress that won't be done until much later this year. I fully expect interest rates will be higher than what I originally estimated. I may or may not try to lock in a good rate early, but I'm planning on renting it out and this throws a bit if a wrench in my margins. I can take it financially, but wondering, If I absolutely needed to get out of buying it, what recourse do I have? Or could I go ahead, and refinance later (who knows rates at that time...)?

VOO. I predominantly use Schwab’s robo advisor and have consistently been 8% below S&P 500. (1) based on the historical performance of VOO, am I better off shifting all of my retirement and brokerage accounts to VOO? (2) how do I do that? How should I go about this? Liquidate all my robo advisors and then buy VOO? Hope you all don’t roast me too hard!
