Is the CMA certification worthwhile?

Background: CPA, b4 experience, no masters degree.

Looking at Controllers/ Finance Directors/CFOs I mostly see MBA/CPA combos, but I honestly don’t see myself going back to school. Was wondering if a CMA will be a value add to my career.

Is LS boutique to the buy side a viable route? Or is there often intermediary roles?

Does anyone know any reliable career coach or consultant? I desperately want to streamline my career path. Experience: Freelance Professor: 3 Years (Multiple coaching classes in Mumbai) Home Tuitions: 2 years UPSC Preparation: 2 years (Gave several other exam attempts) SSB Conference out, 2019 Eventually ended up in corporate due to life situations (assumable) Currently Trainer & QA Lead with 5.4 LPA. Expected an L4 but it is still being delayed even after a strong doc to present.

Looking to brainstorm ... What's the next wave to ride for the next 3-5 years and how to position yourself?

Feel like I missed the boat years back to get into Director of Product role. Back in the day there was only Senior in between a Director role, now there’s Lead and Group levels, so much hierarchy now.

How do you guys handle working with a staff accountant who just completely ignores you when you delegate work down to them, and who gives you an attitude all the time? If I send an email, I also have to follow up with her on teams multiple times, and hope after a few hours she actually does what she says she will do. I moved from public to industry recently, and I’ve always had great staff that wanted to do well and have never experienced working with someone who just doesn’t want to do the job.
