Is there a way to get PwC 401K managed outside of PwC but still gets the match?

Newbie Tax filing question, worked for a US employer Jan - July in NJ and then moved and worked for a Canadian employer Sept - Dec. Work permit holder in both countries at the time. What's the best way to file taxes in both countries? Has anyone done this before? Looking for guidance, gotchas, tax filing recommendations...

I went from making $70k the last 7 years to now started a new job a month ago making $130k plus $10k bonus every year, and $60k in RSUs. I have $70k in my 401k and around $50k in savings. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

SO and I are debating contributing to 401k this year since the rate of return is around -11% on our portfolios this year. I believe it would be better off saving the cash in my account.
