McKinsey & Company Is there an advantage to exiting MBB, spending a stint in industry, re-entering MBB etc? Noticed a few senior partners at McKinsey & Company who've done it, and not sure why, unless it leads to faster promos.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. BCG really disgusted for you to not provide any feedback on my interview after multiple emails.

I referred someone I truly see potential in and have also helped him with resume and casing. And he didn't even get invited for an interview. He stayed optimistic and passionate about the job, and asked me again for advice about reapplying this year. I don't know what to advice him. His resume looks good but didn't even get a chance for interview
