I pull my hair half back in a clip all the time for just in the office. Important meetings I have it down and styled a little more nicely, but if you have thick or long hair a headband or hair clip make life a lot easier when just in the office.
Exactly what I was thinking! I’ve long hair and I hate it being in my face while working.
I’ve been working for about 4 years now and I’ve worn this hair band multiple times during meetings, in the office, outside for networking events. I think it looks nice on me, my hair doesn’t look messy with it and it’s minimal effort (doesn’t look like you’ve walked in with just loose hair flying everywhere).
With this post I’m questioning if people judged me but again, I prefer looking younger than I actually am and don’t see the problem if that’s how people perceive me at work.
The head band or "bow" you posted isn't unprofessional at all. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, I don't wear makeup ever or do my hair, except when it's headshot time. Any other time my hair is pulled back in a bun. If I don't get promoted because of how I wear my hair or choosing not to wear makeup, then that's a place I won't last at very long.
Makes sense. Thank you!
Depends on the workplace

and the bow
Isn't this childish, typically high schoolers wear it right. I haven't seen any professional lady wear it.
Fair enough. That’s why I’m asking. 😅
Yep. If you don’t work somewhere creative it’s a no go.
OP, what’s prompting you to want to wear this if you are questioning it?
OP, I used to wear this till I became a manager and then stopped it. I was asked to stop it because I didn't look senior enough. It is super convenient, let's you keep your hair open but at the same prevents it from falling on your face. I do miss wearing it
Not too professional IMO
Got it. Thank you!
I was referring to something like this
Haha. Gotcha. Thank you SC1. :)

I dont think its childish, I just don't think its in right now? I could be wrong, current fashion is very confusing.
Not concerned about fashion at all. It’s just so convenient and comfortable.
Pro
I personally would not but don't think its unprofessional
Ladies on my team wear those all the time!
