Te a ching RSP/SAI. Any help on how
I had an online assessment round at Intuit and then a technical round. Both went good. But its been 15 days I am yet to hear back from them. Does intuit send closure/rejection email or is it just implicit? also what is the cooling period for intuit ? and what should be the expected ctc if things go right? Did they say when they'll get back
Or actually maybe wait 2ish days and then ask?
Yes. Send them an email as a follow-up.
It could mean:
- they are interviewing other people right now
- they didn’t really like you enough to offer you the job right away and are seeing how the other candidates are
- they don’t have enough quality applicants and are waiting for more people to apply
- the hiring manager is “too busy” to make a decision right now (poor excuse)
Or any combination of the above.
I would reach out regardless to see what you can decipher.
I will tell you we just hired the first person we interviewed, after two rounds and a total of 8 weeks from start to finish. I wasn’t completely thrilled with the person initially and wanted to wait to see who else applied. Even though the whole thing was actually micromanaged by my boss, even though I was technically the hiring manager…
Sure you can. Just give them a call or maybe send an email asking for an update.
