Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

That's to be expected from what I know. UK/Euro salaries have lagged behind the US for a long time. The tradeoff is you all have functioning governments and reasonably sane societies.

I mean. I'm not sure I would consider it a sane society 🤣
Different locations, even within the U.S., will vary wildly in cost of living. Doubling your salary, but rent, bills, and groceries are also twice the price.

I suppose but the overall picture is still vastly different. It's just a fact that US salaries are waaaay higher than UK

Not just you. The UK salary scene moves like dial-up internet. Same skills, half the pay, and we’re supposed to be grateful for “work-life balance.”

What work-life balance 😭🤣 I haven't really experienced it much
We need higher salaries to offset the cost of health insurance 🙃. Before I lost my job, we were paying $600/month for health insurance. Not including copays and deductibles. If we had opted to get on my husband’s plan after I lost my job, we’d be paying $1300/month for much worse coverage. Or we could pay over $2k/month to keep my plan through COBRA
