Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

It sounds like you may have answered your own question then. If you are eager for growth, it doesn't sound like that is a possibility at this present moment. It may still be worth discussing with management, but otherwise, the option is to look elsewhere. I personally chose to stick it out in my role instead of jumping around for what's next. I like what I do, I'm good at it, and I'm happy with the pay. Even though I am capable of more, I'd never call it "settling." I just found my place and I'm sticking to it.

There is a fine line between contentment and resentment. In this terrible job market, it might be best to find more ways to be content. Especially if you are okay with your pay, maybe try to make new friends. Be a light in someone's day and find other ways to make yourself happy in your position. Good luck to you.
It sounds like you have a lot of really great experience which would make you a great candidate for many different roles. If you are feeling trapped then start looking to see what else is out there. Anytime I have felt that way I knew it was time for a change, maybe it is that time for you.
I love where I work, and even what I do, but I know a) there's never (years at the soonest) going to be a full time house supervision position. b) the probability of an inpatient or ER manager position opening up is slim to none. c) any other equal or higher positions would require me leaving my hospital (maybe even healthcare group) and commuting at least 45 minutes each way.
Honestly? Leave and do something that makes me happy. I'm in healthcare and fed up with the corruption in MY field.
