Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.

The external role will an element of unknown and a learning curve involved more than shifting roles internally. You have decide how much that is worth to you in terms of comp difference. Then, like others said, discuss this with HR if you are good with moving on to the external offer. I say that because sometimes these situations can cause internal friction.

It is a risk I suppose to take the outside offer but any sort of pay increase is greatly appreciated at the moment haha
