Need a freelance React Developer for a project.
I am currently pursuing a position to be a 401k workplace planning consultant with Fidelity Investments. I would like to connect with someone who has gone through that training and early hiring process to make sure I have a solid understanding of the position. This is specifically for the Raleigh/Durham NC area if possible.
Let’s see a Starbucks barista top that!

A guy with 10 priorities has none.
So true
I have struggled with this often, especially when I was first starting out in my career. To quote the advice of a senior engineer on my team, “So you can’t get it all done and management is being unhelpful, but you can and should still practice good engineering. At the end of the day, what incomplete task would have the most risk (damaging hardware, delaying the project schedule, etc.) Start with that task. Complete it and then ask yourself the same question again and repeat.“
I think you gotta figure out what actually needs to be done immediately and/or what the priorities are. Not everything can have the same level of priority attached, there has to be some kind of hierarchy. So each day think about your priorities and what you can reasonably accomplish and get to those things first-- if there's a lot left over, talk to your manager about your workload
Yep I think you’re definitely right. I’ve been doing that and still feel like there’s plenty left over haha
Work as hard that is reasonable and then go to sleep
Hahah love it
I think it just comes down to prioritizing. Or what a former manager of mine used to term ruthless prioritizing. Work on what's absolutely urgent. But also try to break things up into manageable pieces, if at all possible. That way, at least you'll be ticking off some milestones as you work, and that will make you feel like progress is indeed being made.
I like the breaking things up to make progress thing. Thanks!

You don’t, you need to prioritize and say no when you’re bandwidth is full
The saying no is the tough part cuz it’s all part of one large project so if it doesn’t get done it just comes back to me to get it done
You might consider contingent labor to help with your overflow. You have done a good job in attracting customers, You may need to grow past the one man shop to serve them and keep them happy.
It will force you to prioritize the job to be done
I'm of the opinion that we do the job accurately and precisely. No 2 jobs are the same. Do them properly, no return to fix a mistake. Surveying should never be about speed. Just my opinion
Having multiple skills and taking on more work is a great way to show expertise and adaptability. For me prioritizing tasks and planning effectively can help manage everything more smoothly. If it ever feels like too much, bringing in an assistant can make a big difference. It not only helps you stay on top of deadlines and client needs but also strengthens trust and confidence with clients, which is key to building strong relationships.
in this situation, it is important to know how to manage time very well. Important to differentiate what is important and urgent, what is not important, but urgent, what is not urgent etc. need to allocate time for each task. you will get to survive and getting stronger :)
Be honest and be more beneficial to the overall progress...and request help...be it permanent or temp.. if the load is beyond you ask for more wheels..
It's important to try and get As much done as possible as fast as possible But your main focus should be the stuff you can get done and working So if it's hotel work get the rooms up and ready that can be got up and ready
