I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

Fidelity Investments I joined FIL on 08th August 2022 and hence was eligible for appraisal but even after a good feedback, I was told that there is no increment in salary as well as bonus because of "Too Soon To Decide" rating. And this is being followed not just in our team but in whole FIL. This is the first time I am hearing such kind of thing and didn't found any thing like this on "HR Hub". So, if anyone of you know about this or have received similar gyan from Manager, please share your experience. Fidelity In

I don’t think you’d be starting from scratch unless it’s a total industry change. I moved to the Siegfried group mainly for comp and consulting work rather than audits and 💯 would recommend. They normally look for 3 years in PA first though 😕
That’s a lot longer than I see any other firms mentioned. Sorry if not being miserable at work bothers you. I’d suggest a change. Life’s too short.
What do you mean by “start from scratch”? Do you mean just coming in at the associate level? Then yes.
I left Big 4 for consulting at the exact same time as what you’re talking about. I had to come in as an associate - but an associate that made 50% more than an audit associate so it was worth it. And then they promoted me to senior at the same time as I would’ve been promoted had I stayed at PwC. It’s a non-issue
I was making about $60K at PwC and got bumped to $95K when I switched. So actually more like 60%
