I've been working in Administrative positions for a few decades now and I feel that looking for a job that pays what your experience is worth is very hard, and 95% of that has been in Healthcare. I would like to retire at a decent age but how this economy is at the moment and less pay, I don't think that'll happen anytime soon. I need advice into how to find a really good job that pays over 45,000 a yr and I can retire from.

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. But do you think it's wise to do so at the risk of damaging your work environment or the whole thing backfiring on you? Thoughts are welcome.

Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.
