Contact recruiters and friends in other finance companies. Do not wait for the termination notice.
Tidy up emails and delete any personal files/belongings (particularly if you may be asked to leave pronto). Read your employment contract. Don't just accept it but ask questions. The above you can do later. When it happened to me, I wish I would have challenged, not left and spoken to the senior. Maintain your composure. Good luck.
It happened to me. Use your vacation time to get ahead.
If you're an IBD analyst at a BB, that is extremely rare, and you might be getting paranoid. Do you best on everything and don't let your nerves become self fulfilling.
Also, try to keep your BB.
Why are you suspecting this?
Print an export of your address book. But G_d forbid. Do not. Under any circumstances forward bank property over email. Then you will be sacked and without a pretty little severance package.
Unfortunately I know many intelligent people who have fallen foul of this..... On feeling ignored, get over it. Seriously. Absolutely everyone is primarily worried about themselves. So it may just be that your managers ( who have never been trained to manage or to teach) are stressed / in their own world and haven't yet recognised your talent. Remember you're cheap which offers real protection. Key is not to be annoying. Learn what you can and try to add value every day. For the first year or so you won't add hardly any - but that's ok. They're investing in you because in time, once the apprenticeship period is over, you will be adding real value and that becomes your protection.
Thanks folks.
What makes you think that?
My boss isn't giving me work despite me asking and I kept being conveniently "forgotten" on meeting invite lists that literally the whole team are part of. @vp1 fortunately I'm not that dumb!
