As with many of us, I’ve been searching for a new job. I recently applied to very small firm (in terms of staff), and I’m concerned that with so much work to do and so few people to review applicants, I might get lost in the mix. I may try and connect with one of their staff on LinkedIn, but otherwise, does anyone have advice on how I might get myself noticed in this situation?

Dash this comment aside if it is fallible, but there is something here that has been overlooked. Competence is not regurgitation and memorization.
Not exactly unprofessional... But how did you tell ur team/boss that you're pursuing a transfer/interviewing for other positions?
