Hi,
What will be the in hand salary for this?

Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

If you have a job and aren't worried then you're not paying attention.
To your question: there are worries at other firms also. The reasons may be different but yes they are there. At the end of the day, if it’s part of a structured strategy and strengthens the firm overtime while being empathetic to employees and mentor them what to look for - then as professionals we should be okay with it. However, if it is poorly done and happening often - it’s best for us all to post outside of the company bowls as well so that all are aware and take an informed decision before joining a firm. Layoffs (I don’t consider pruning of performance based dissociation as layoffs) should always be called out for the benefit of all - part of structured strategy or not. Why should a company hide layoffs - let future prospects decide based on all information whether they want to join or not. After all the firms conduct a comprehensive background check before hiring you!
Layoffs don’t happen at MBB. You can get counseled out but that’s less than 10% of cases and you’re given four months minimum paid leave to find a job and a vast network of resources and people usually land on their feet
I was at an MBB for close to a decade. This is misleading at best. All MBBs up or out structures vary based on performance in worse economic times. In other words, up or out is far more aggressive at some times than others controlling for performance.
Furthermore, this 10% number doesn’t include the people who see the writing on the wall and leave of their own fruition. Fundamentally all pyramid consulting models have mechanisms to funnel out performers, the criteria is just different.
every one does layoffs, Deloitte nice makes it harder for us BUT cleaning house is necessary for us to stay at the top
Whom you don’t see at meetings?
Love that someone from Deloitte thinks they know more about BCG than someone who actually works there. Might confident statement coming from a firm that’s literally bleeding layoff letters
Facts ^^^
I’m not worried, but I’ve also worked with my principal to get a scope increase for $100k and looking at scaling our headcount to multiple brands which will bring the project to just below $2 million so truly can say layoffs are not on my mind
This is cringe af
out counsel is the same thing, and it's no where near 10% for us either. we run our performance management process and then let people know they will be more successful somewhere else... it's the same method. AND it's much higher than 10% at the junior levels at BBM - you clearly don't know your own people strategy if you think your statement is accurate
bleeding off letters? that is ridiculous, 1% going at YE to clean up our work force and to help some people move on to better fits... what do you know about anything here... you barely know about what your Firm actually states on campus
