Document everything, go to therapy, and start looking for a gig elsewhere. Unless you love the workplace culture otherwise?
I agree. It depends on your situation and how rude their demeanor is. If you're being bullied, leave. I tried standing up for myself and tried to improve the work culture for two and a half years. HR and management were involved. Only operational things were changed (more reasonable workload vs unrealistic expectations) but personnel in question was not kept accountable for her rude behavior even with multiple complaints from different people/departments. Many companies/NGOs care about the operations more than the people even though it may say it in their company values...
Get a new job asap! If you’re not in their click, they’ll end up getting rid of you and until that happens your work place is toxic. Good luck!
That is what happened to me! Agree with this advice.
Similar situation. Have no idea what happened but managers and workplace getting toxic. Manipulation and definitely signs of favoritism
I am going through that now. My boss keeps telling me ,” it’s policy” and it most certainly is not , and HR is co-signing this, ex: they told me it was policy to not give co-workers a ride to work. I asked for a copy of the policy ( because I knew this was untrue) and they had the nerve to give me a telecommuting policy…… like what?! Are you insulting my intelligence? Or are you showing me yours? And our HR was the person to hand me the document. Smh
Anyway, lookingng for a new job, only gotten worse!
Idk I think we all have our moments where we are not at our best, but I think if we stopped going all in to get nasty reactions from each other in the workplace, that might solve the problem. You can't fxck with someone all day and seriously expect top notch responses and reactions all day.
