How many employees does KGS have in total?
Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC
I make poor decisions

I would stay unless there’s a compelling case to move. You being promoted means that you are doing a good job and have established a network at PwC. Unless the new position pays better and/or does more interesting work, I don’t see why you would take that risk.
Ask Deloitte to up it by 5k
Leave. 8 months means 2 years. You'll be wondering what if. Plus you can establish a network at deloitte. Counter with a pay bump too
Also found out I'm extended on the shitstorm project I've been on for 1 year for another 8 months though. Trying to weigh shorter projects with more interesting work vs. existing relationships. And curious about Consultant level vs. SA level.
Stay - I totally agree with P2. Can you roll off this hell project?
Definitely go to Deloitte. Better pay typically and bonus and also MBAs are paid for. Yes, you have a network where you are now but you will rebuild at Deloitte.
Guideline - don’t switch for less than a 20% increase
Stay.
Thank you all - I've decided to stay. 🙂
OP did you sign the offer letter?
I wouldn’t give the project too much weight in this decision. I think the only reason to leave at the same salary at another firm is if the service lines are incredibly different and fit your goals better. Does your current role have any strategy component to it? If so, I’d stay and work on transitioning to more traditional IT Strategy at PwC.. revisiting Deloitte when you may qualify as SC in couple more years
I heard a lot of A2’s made SA and a lot of A3’s got “deferred to midyear”, but happy for you.
@EY2 no. @EY3 currently none; transitioning practices at PwC is honestly harder than finding a new job haha. Thanks again all! I should also mention ideally I'd like to go to B-school within a few years and then exit to the Tech industry.
Sounds like you have a natural transition after B-school. Hang out at PwC. Build the relationships. Get the stability on your resume now so when you jump ship in another year you don’t look like a hummingbird
Are you going to be in the TS&A practice? If not, I am not sure about the ‘strategy’ part..
While it’s be said previously, this young in your career you may want to strongly consider staying at PwC. You may have built a good network/support structure and PwC does pay for MBAs also if you go that route. Jumping ship too early for even $5k is a waste when you look at the long term potential of having a great network.
Looks like the written offer at D is within the Core Business Operations group. I was verbally told the role was within the commercial Cloud Engineering group, filling a Cloud Strategy req.
Give me your A2 ——> SA1 promotion (since I am in Finance and the Partners don’t care about rewarding hard work on the Associate level) and good luck at Deloitte!!! We will miss you!
@D1 client sponsor requested me to replace the other SA they were planning to have until the end. Sounds like from my Partners and Directors they are all for it. Thanks for the opinions though guys, I was leaning towards leaving but now need to reassess.
