I waited as long as possible ... about 14 weeks. You don’t owe anyone information like this, and since it’s significantly less risky past 12 weeks it’s common to wait
Wait as long as you can. A lot can go wrong in the first trimester unfortunately. Get secret thrills by telling total strangers like the server who takes your decaf order
Congrats! Last fall I told my boss/team at 9 weeks then found out I had miscarried a week later We got a + in Feb but I waited till 11 weeks after my second appointment to be sure.
Wait as long as you can, as long as it’s not obvious. Miscarriage is 1/4 in the first trimester. Oh, and CONGRATS!!!
For my first, I think I pushed it to about 18 weeks (it took quite a while for me to show). Second time around was sooner. But agree on all posts above, wait as long as possible!
Told supervisors at 10 weeks because I couldn’t stop throwing up. Told HR and others after 20 week anatomy scan.
I waited for 16 weeks, but could’ve gone longer. With your first it takes quite a while to start showing. Congrats!
Had to tell them way early around 7 weeks bc I was Kate Middleton sick
Waited until after the first trimester for the reasons stated above. I didn't want to end up having a miscarriage and then need to explain that to everyone as well. You don't owe them anything. It's an exciting time, but god forbid if something goes wrong, do you want to have to explain that too?
Sending all the good thoughts your way and congratulations!!
Wait as long as you can.
I waited 20 weeks
