Just got fired feom a job i had no longer than 3 weeks, as the head chef i had 2 other cooks, the owner insisted i change the menu immediatley so i wasnt cooking the old chefs menuwhich was fine but i was given literally a day to so, then i had no conplaints and she brings back an older chef that she new from before and i was let go the next week, why hire somone just to let them go after they reorganized your whole kitchen, cleaned it etc, why hire me if you are going to hire someone else???

For those that transferred internally from Audit —-> TAS, how did you talk to your partner about making the move? Just talked to mine and he seemed pretty upset. My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). I started working for a new law firm, much larger than the firm I was working for previously. The main attorney that I work under had noticed some mistakes I was making (I am a NY paralegal who took this position with the understanding that they’d be teaching me NJ and NYC real estate). So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise.
