Chill for a day our two. Go workout and treat your body/mind right. You’re in the tightest labor market in 25 years and have some great experience. In a couple days fire up the resume and start networking again.
You’ll bounce back In no time op, but going forward always have a few irons in the fire, even if you’re seemingly doing good at your current job always be on the lookout for the next job
I’d say move quickly with applications and networking. The longer you are unemployed, the more difficult securing your next role will be. Some will tell you to rest and recharge for a little while, but I’m personally too risk averse for that.
Leverage your LinkedIn connections to let them know you’re open for opportunities. Update your profile to indicate that you’re seeking a job. Do it today as there is a lead time to getting hired.
I know it’s a huge bummer and you feel terribly. But remember it is not personal and it’s probably a great way to find an even better job. Good luck
Sorry to hear that. Pause to identify what you really want, then go for it! Always something out there. No experience is wasted my friend
Apply for unemployment and take a trip 😌
