Did anyone get a GSB interview this week?
Looking for some great (former) BigLaw transactional lawyers to work with my company Praktio (www.praktio.com) to develop new practical training for associates. Here's the LinkedIn job posting: www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/2636937239/.
Initially contemplating these relationships as contractor/project-based, but hoping some will evolve into FTE. And open to starting off that way for the right opportunity.
I'm going to sleep. Good night, everyone!

Smartwool for dress / mid calf socks. Bombas for ankle and lower cuts. My feet sweat so I like wool for breathable materials but Bombas will replace if you gets holes or lose a sock as long as you have receipt

Darn Tough is a great brand, a bit pricey (I think made in Vermont) but so far haven’t lost any.
Was gonna say this. They’re built like tanks

Stop trying to rely on socks. Treat them as consumables.
Outway socks, funky designs. Different lengths, materials.
It’s not necessarily the brand; it’s the material. Merino wool or bust.

Yeah I don't want to take care of them extra; wear, wash, rotate with a bunch of pairs. Ice breaker has been decent but maybe I'll try a darn tough. Cycling/hiking isn't that hard on socks ime, my cycling socks last forever. Walking around at home on hard floors I think does them in more than anything.
I like smartwool
I wear three layers of panty hose
They hold up longer
The only problem is dudes at the gym make fun of me
Relentlessly

are you Taylor Swift?
Some of the socks I wear are old enough to have graduated high school. It's weird to hear about socks that fall apart after a few months.
Doublesoul is pretty good too.
Happy socks. Been wearing them for 15 years. Very durable and fun.

Fabrication , and end consumer requirements are key. Machinery support and yarn is key to what the consumer is looking for.
Support and ergonomics with the current hygenine factor is a must.
360 is a key factor and end use of sock.
Customisation and scanning is key right now.
Buy more socks. My socks last in part because I have so many. One wear per month vs 1 wear per week extends lifespan. Given the low price of socks relative to other things and your probably above average income, it is probably better to just buy more socks you like than hunt for the best sock brand. Use your time and energy elsewhere.
Feetures is great for athletic socks. Boardroom Socks for dress.
Them sandpaper feet 🤣 use lotion
I just go barefoot in my loafers.
Problem solved.

I think your problem may be the fit of your shoes. I have lots of socks that are likely older than you are. Rare when a heal finally wears thin.
Merino wool is a nice splurge for quality if you can.
Camel City Mill.
Vuori for everyday socks. They’re great and they last. Alo are terrible and do not last.
Who wears socks?
Worked in both men’s and women socks development and innovation. Both performance and lifestyle. For global major brands.
