I never understood why people would go to LEK after everything seen here. Like what is the attraction?

I would have been $500 more in bonus than most of us got at EY

It’s marginally better than being unemployed though. https://joinfishbowl.com/post_w5ibfj8bum

everyone I Know there just says it's similar hours to MBB with no travel and everything else is kinda a meme

LEK is generally not that bad. There’s a lot of negatives of course and when you’re staffed on a bad case it can be a lot more negative. But compared to other firms it’s really not the end of the world.

A lemonade stand yet alone L.E.K is an upgrade from EY / EY-P

lol you don’t even know how good you have it at EY

What do you all think of Snowflake's businnes, stock and IPO? It is database business and competition is heating up. Is this something good for / worth investing in? I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Thank you all!

Hi all! My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk.
