I think you're eligible as soon as your are hired full time
When you get pregnant
4 months. Cannot speak to when you're eligible, I assume after one year. Dads also get 4 months.
I had a coworker leave for maternity leave after working for the firm for about 6 months
You get 16 weeks in any rolling 52 week period. Not sure how they would handle taking it immediately after getting hired though... there may be a clawback period when you come back (not uncommon in maternity policies)
I'd guess the moment you're eligible for benefits.
When you buy a p test
Benefits start immediately
Just to clarify on what people have said above first you get short term disability which is 6 weeks but the first week is actually your PTO. If you end up having a c section it's 8 weeks. THEN the 16 weeks everyone above was referring to kicks in (family/maternity leave). You can use PTO on top of that if you wish but after 6 months you would need to start paying Deloitte's portion of your health insurance. Holidays only count if they fall during your PTO time (so they can't add on to your leave if they fall during your STD or family leave time period).
I was under the impression you are eligible after a year but I'm not certain.
