Does studying for top consulting firms’ case interviews help in any way for interviews with other firms (e.g., FAANG case interviews) ?

I had a zoom interview with three partners last Thursday. I thought it went super well, but haven't heard anything yet. Should I follow up with the in-firm recruiter, if so, when? This is for a position in a highly ranked but regional (mountain state) firm. Thanks!

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Advice/suggestions please:
Let’s say you were interviewing for a global client lead role - at the holding co level - for one of WPP, Omnicom or IPG.

What questions would you ask in the interview phase?
What concerns would you have?
If you had your pick of essentially the same role at all three of those holding companies which would you pick? Or not pick?

I’m shooting for the moon and applying to jobs I am mentally ready for and can qualify for but my resume is very short sweet and to the point because I’ve worked at the same place for 6 year and climbed the ladder & wanting something new. How do I explain that to my future employer?

I just got laid off from my job as a gov contractor because the project I was working on ended. I’m currently a grad student part time and was hoping to work that job until finishing grad school before applying to consulting roles. How do you handle remote teams being in different time zones? Right now we have a ton of team leaders on the west coast with the core team on the east coast and because of that urgent requests keep coming down after hours with the expectation to address it immediately. So at this point we’re working from 8am until like 11pm and nobody knows what to do to push back on it

I laugh during awkward situations. The other day someone called me out on laughing. It was awkward.

Working on a long term brand platform, which had the potential to be a really stellar, powerful body of work.

Sadly, it's being driven into the ground so hard by stakeholders that I have no love left for it. It's slowly becoming an embarrassment.

How do you go about this? Do you just swallow your pride and just take the paycheck? Try to fight for it tooth and nail while you still can?
