The pay is 6 figures it is fully remote, the benefits are insanely good and it can be your second job if you are very good. If you are great, it’s probably 15-20 hours of work per weeks. I feel like all of my friends who work in tech are very open about their starting salaries and the increases each year. I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. My technical interview was on 19th Feb and received HR called me on 22nd feb for salary discussion but again on 22nd Feb 2nd HR called to have managerial round which was scheduled on 25th Feb and again got mail to submit CIS form. After submitting form didn't get any call from HR. Its been 8 days. Is i am ghosted?

Sinple advise those who are waiting for SA promotion... whatever package u r getting as A you will get only 15% hike for promotion to SA...so it's nt at well worth, Better switch.

Today i got call from my recruiter and she informed me that my offer letter will be revised . Prev the offer was 15.90 LPA . Now the revised offer contains 17.10 LPA . I was quite surprised with this behaviour .
My DOJ is 21st feb 2022. Designation - sr. Associate - projects

Is there anything worried about this ? Anyone faced this kind of approach ? Kindly suggest

Hi Fishes.. 6 yoe in SAP SD, i got 2 offers one from Wipro14 lpa role tech lead and other from Infosys for 16lpa role consultant.. i feel in Wipro the role is good but package is very less and in Infosys the role less for my experience and package can also be revised.. what can i do.. need your valuable inputs if i can negotiate with anyone of the company or which i can choose.. 1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. I had interviewed with PwC India for Business Analyst role at Pune location, my both Manager round and Client round went well. However I have still not received any call/ offer from HR. I did call the HR she told me that they have not heard back from the Client.

Is it difficult to transition from Management Consultant (Big4) to Strategy Consultant (Tier 2)? Can you go from Experienced Consultant (Big4, 6 YOE) to Manager in a Tier 2, or you would normally go to the same level or even below?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Deloitte Switzerland went bankrupt a few years ago. UK partners bought out the company in order to rescue….of course they establish their own people as they are now the owners. Now we have British partners running the Swiss office. No issues there. But there is an exodus of people leaving to rival firms. Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title.
