Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will get selected within 7-8days. The MNC will be offering good package, but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. Query :1. If I say yes to the Big4, and when they issue the offer letter, and then I reject, can they blacklist me. 2. Also if accept the offer and say no, in that case can they blacklist me from their firm. I do the opposite (delay send for 9am the next morning) to avoid having others think that I am available at night.
This but do like 5-6 am because I am a morning person and want people to respect that by knowing that while I will rarely work past 10, I will still get the task done by the next business day by being up early.
I don’t, but if I’m working late I also don’t delay send so that the person gets it during business hours.
I’ll send it in the hopes that the partner feels bad for making me stay up late on an “urgent” assignment that they sat on for weeks before giving it to me last minute.

I have a toddler so 4 AM and 10 PM (before wakeup and after bedtime) are when I do some of my best emailing. Lol. I do make sure, especially if I'm sending to an associate, that I tell them NOT to look at or worry about responding until the next day.
I save as drafts and just let them all rip at 8:30
or 9:00 am. Very satisfying.
I hope not...that's sad and pathetic.
Partners will often reply or follow up within 1-2 minutes even when sent late, so this is not a workable strategy ha
Never. No one I know would appreciate a 3 am email unless it is extremely urgent and needs to be dealt with before 8 am in the morning.
At my old firm, associates were cautioned against this and given negative feedback if it's a regular occurrence. Unless you're going back and forth with a client on a very urgent matter all night long, wait until after 8 am to send the next email. It can be a bad look for the firm if an associate consistently emails between 1 am and 4 am.
