I applied to a job opening on Accenture site on Nov. 16. Around Dec 16, my profile got rejected, without any calls or emails. I was told that I could apply only after 6 months. Honestly I have always considered them bbtq. But here is how I see it: If you say we are going to eat bbq then I assume we are going to a bbq place with like ribs and smoked meats. If you invite me to a bbq, however, I assume there will be hamburgers and hotdogs.
When I was a kid if someone said they were having a barbecue, it just meant something was being cooked on a charcoal grill. But in today's lingo, I do think barbecue refers to something more involved. So I guess burgers and hot dogs would be the fare at a cookout, not a barbecue.
No, burgers, hot dogs, brats, sausages, etc. is grilling or could be called cooking out but that is not bbq-ing. Those are two extremely different types of cuisine and cooking methods. Midwesterns are crazy to conflate the two. Tsk tsk guys.
Yeah, let's listen to people who think Wait-a-burger is the best burger chain in Texas. 🤣
No, that’s “grilling”, not “BBQ”
In America, yeah that's a BBQ. It's usually a BARBECUE grill.
