I’m considering leaving Google to go work at a startup, I’m wondering if things don’t work out how easy it’d be to come back to Google. I’d love to hear from people who returned to Google how the process was. Does the company value your previous tenure at Google, or do they treat you like any external candidate who never worked at Google before?

Stag Provisions & Patagonia, otherwise I shop online or wait for a business trip to New York

Nice so the suggestion is go back to where i came from lmao
As another out of towner guy who also thinks shopping for not fat people or douchebags (see all the responses from the consultancy folk) sucks here, I ended up shopping online. The choices here are pretty bad, and even shops you'd go into in other cities to find stuff mostly cater to a different crowd around here.
Sorry I don't have better news.
You should honestly just drive down to San Marcos. 45 minute drive and all the options you could want
Vince, Nordstrom/Nord. Rack, Neiman Marcus, Stag Provisions. There’s a John Varvatos in Houston that I go to when I’m over there.
Also if you are going to be a basic bitch and shop at Macys, I’m pretty positive there’s a macys at the domain and at the Barton creek mall.
There’s a macys at the domain, lol. And a Dillard’s.
There’s literally a Macys at the Domain.
Kinda strange. Have you even bothered to look for stores? Also perfectly reasonable stores like banana republic/h&m/zaras/etc are there at domain! Including macys.
Else just go to round rock premium outlets. Is there anything specific you looking for you haven't found?
Lol this gave me a good chuckle
Houston , Dallas, or San Marcos ….professionalism in Austin sucks ( lot of egos) as well as limited stock . Or just online .
I mostly shop online
Dilliards at domain can have a great selection.
J crew factory near the domain.
Round rock outlets up North.
Online is much easier once you are familiar with sizes of go to brands.
I like Dylan Wylde on S. Lamar. Quality clothing but not super expensive. I would say most items are in the $50-$150 range

Hadn't heard of the store until I googled it just for clarity and looking for male clothing that's not fruity and minimalist, but none of that baggy stuff that Kanye sells.
Buck Mason or Madewell mens on south Congress is usually where I get the men in my life clothes haha
