Yeah learn how to spell
What round are you in? If it’s the 30 minute phone screen case, I would prep structuring and basic consulting case prep. (Cases are more to see if it’s worth the time to bring you in for an official R1 so generally less challenging than a R1) If you are going for R1, focus heavily on your PEI and case interview. An above average case with exceptional PEI can get an offer. An exceptional case with mediocre/below average PEI interview will not get an offer.
@OP when is your interview? When doing my prep some time ago, I found fastmath.net consulting prep very helpful to brush up on quick math.
Re: the case interview. Anytime you calculate a number, make sure you PROACTIVELY say the so what. Do not wait to be promoted. This gives you an opportunity to show your creativity and problem solving. For example “the break even is 40K units”... I do not think that is reasonable to achieve because it would require x y z but we should explore X factor more.” When structuring your question to brainstorm questions, like “what are the major considerations the client needs to make before investing in a new manufacturing line”.... take moment to think about a few considerations (ideally bucket them on a page) —- be prepared after your done for the interviewer to probe you on “what else.” This is a test to ensure you are being Comprehensive in your responses.
Also, will say it again, focus on YOUR pei. Mckinsey gives specific feedback on your case performance after each round but never gives specific feedback on the PEI. It’s honestly the thing most candidates overlook and it is the reason why most who make it to r1 fail.
Good luck ! Hope to hear you get an offer!
Practice practice practice! Don’t underestimate the PEI
Google is your friend :) personal experience interview
Lucky you. Good luck. Been trying to get in there with my Agile / delivery background for a month. People say don't apply unless you have a referral. What was your approach?
How'd you land your interview? Did you have referral?
I had interviews early this fall/summer, just applied on LinkedIn as a long shot. Unfortunately didn’t get past final round

Phone case or first round?
First round
My advice is to attend the interview
Hmm, green is better than blue?
