Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?
Thanks in advance,
Fellow Perplexed Fish.

“Lifelong car guy”? Ioniq 6?!
What would it take to “justify” a car?
A commute to work that would be painful/impossible via public transit.
Is Turo an option where you live? Might help scratch your itch to rent different fun cars since it sounds like you don’t really need a car for day-to-day use.
As was mentioned, an Ioniq-whatever in nor a car guy car. With the bigger picture in mind, I suggest that you invest whatever car payment you would make on a meh car that you don't need into a moderate growth mutual fund, and when the time comes, put tht money into a truly filing to own car that already well past the majority of it's depreciation. Who knows, maybe by then your living situation will be able to accommodate a better parking spot.
Having never owned a new car, this will then be an opportunity to appreciate an older vehicle just the same, with its own unique "new car smell," without having lost potentially 10's of thousands of dollars on a car that sits parked on the street most of it's life.
I say this as a bonafide car guy who has spent/wasted more than I am willing to admit to myself on go-fast parts and depreciation.
Hold on…
1) no car guy wants a Hyundai
2) leasing is a predatory practice that preys on a society that removed basic finance from the public school system
