Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase?Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
Hello.. i have 6 years of experience in frontend development. I have offer of 27.5 from Nagarro (client to be decided yet) and 30 from HCL Technologies (apple client and work location also apple) and 26 from Netcracker Technology Corp. maybe with some joining bonus. Which do you think I should join.

Normally I would agree with SA1 - it is pretty easy to miss topic on here especially when you don't use it all the time, but there is a new search feature which is pretty helpful. And one of the categories is salary and comp.
I got offered $6k more from a B4 firm than I did with BDO.
I got 13k more at a local firm. Same position.
I got 7k more from Crowe than B4. 10k more with bonuses.
Senior range at a regional I'm at, 80-100k, manager is 104k-140k, sr manager is 140-200k. Bay Area
Regional firms sometimes pay more to attract recruits, sometimes less.
OP- you can search for post specifically on the topic of salaries/compensation. Just click the search icon in the top right. I say that not to discourage you from soliciting input on this post, but rather to offer previous insights that you find informative.
I should add that the B4 staff position was in NYC and BDO was a suburban office, so it was negligible difference when factoring in commuting costs and hours worked.
Big 4 pays my friend 5k less than me but the benefits (401k and health insurance)+her higher bonus have us equal at 3-4year experience level.
