Anyone ever had the trim on your house painted? 2000 square feet, was quoted $3500. This included the trim, garage door, and front door. Seems reasonable, no?

How big is to big for an initial investment property. Theres a 20 SFH portfolio for sale by me for about a mil. Is this to big to start with initially? I'm less worried about the Financials (feel comfortable on that end) and more worried about the managerial aspect.

Is it better to have SFH for monthly cash flow or passive MF deals through a private syndicate? Friend told me that you need to have $1.5m invested in MF to generate 60k a year approx but it’s much better than dealing with tenants and maintenance. After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!
