Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Do you always need an MBA to get into MBB?
Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

If you didn’t make it through the case in a timely manner, it’s likely you either don’t have the basic components down or you are too verbose throughout. Math speed could also be part but it sounds like this is something through your cases and not one segment. The cases are designed to be done fairly quickly in ~20 mins.
For the basic components, crafting cases helped me to better structure everything, so I could hone in on the root issue early on and save time. For the verbose part, working with case partners who will actually call you out for too much fluff will really help. Or record yourself and see where you go too long.

I didn’t use any of the online paid resources. What I did was find a solid group of good case partners. If you can’t, then I can see a paid live case program being worth it but imo there’s more than enough material from bschool casebooks and whatnot to help prepare.

I started with the consulting club at my school and also reached out to friends who were in the industry (currently or previously). Eventually built out a new network from APD programs that the companies ran during the summer
I found rocket blocks super useful for the start of case prep (a few weeks, when I was in a remote location and couldn't easily live case with anyone). Stopped using it after the first few weeks and shifted to just live cases, but it definitely gave me a head start on those

Agree with above. Find case partners who will give you detailed feedback and help you improve. Only way to get through MBB cases is to be concise and to the point and also mindful of timing. You don't need to have 3 or 4 buckets in your framework when you only need 2. You can start with crafting cases(free) and join MBB case prep group on FB.
