Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. Fair or unfair? I got assigned ton of work on Thurs with a Fri EOD deadline. PM said to reach out if any issues meeting deadline (it was an internal deadline, nothing to client). Friday midday I conclude I’m not going to finish by EOD, so ask PM if I can have the weekend to finish up. PM says no, & that they wanted it fri so they could review over the weekend. PM asks if I can be done by Sunday am. I say yes, and I do. Few days later, I get rolled off the project citing the blown deadline.

Regarding the WSJ article.. Can anyone in PE explain why any pension fund would be interested in buying single family homes? Extremely illiquid, historically follows inflation.... Do they think Texas will go the way of CA? Ie/ zoning and artificial cost inflation due to supply constraints by the govt? It just seems to go against what is taught in economics as a sound investment... i guess CALPERS is desperate for yield given how upside down the state is
