Looking for some info on San Antonio - areas to live close to restaurants and grocery stores, safe, good areas to run and/or bike and where you can have a little space. I know zero about San Antonio so any input is helpful! Thanks, fish!

I’ve always heard Alamo heights or near Pearl Brewery. The town is on the rise culturally, so should be a few cool spots.

You should check out Alamo heights. It’s a very safe, central neighborhood with nice houses. Definitely old money though. Pearl is also lovely and packed with great restaurants but it’s mostly apartments so if space/yard is important to you, harder to come by, although it has access to the beautiful part of the riverwalk which is a great place to run.

Southtown

Stone oak area for established suburbia. Near “the rim” is a lot of new development near “the dominion” neighborhood. N281 traffic is no joke, don’t do that.

My wife got a job that requires us to relocate to San Diego. We have never lived there and know little about the city. We are planning to rent. We stayed in a hotel in little Italy and really loved the vibe there, but it’s too expensive for us. Are there other neighborhoods with similar vibes - restaurants, bars, lively, good for walking, clean, safe, young, diverse and accessible that are more affordable? Please share recommendations. How much should we reasonably budget to rent a 2bd/2bath?

Which SF neighborhoods to consider? Lady 🐠 looking for safe 1br with public transit / walking accessibility to FiDi and not far from SFO. Hoping to spend $3k-$3300, but could go up to $3500.

Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Question to Interviewers:

Do you get informed if the person you interviewed joined the company or not?

How would you feel if many of the candidates you interviewed with positive feedback didn’t join the company?

Do companies measure time wasted interviewing candidates who didn’t join?

Just curious to know.
