Looking to move from another corporate company to Facebook/Meta, but I’m in finance. Everyone I know is in vastly different areas…anyone from that side willing to talk? Just want to know what kind of opportunities are out there. I graduated and started my career 2 years ago so I’m fairly new.

I'm at an early stage tech start up and gaining experience in an industry that I like. However, I am getting no formal training or sales coaching. Everything I've done so far (Inc. Targeted marketing and prospecting) has been self taught and I feel like I am lacking professional knowledge if I was to move onto a different company, especially considering that I am not involved in the full sales cycle.

What type of profile would it take to get hired at L7 at Google from McK? Early AP? experienced AP? other factors?

Thoughts on making a move from strat consting to
a) joining a vc (investment team)
VS
b) doing 2+ years as a product mgr/s&o forst before moving to vc?

Context: 1-2 years in strat consulting, couple software CDDs under the belt as well as pricing and gtm engagements

I’ve been at my company (pharma) for 9 years this summer. Came out of my company’s HR development program and responsibilities have increased over time. Context I am planning a switch from analyst to data scientist from a non US location to US. However, L4 is needed for this jump (prob due to visa issues). With the current revamp in PSC cycle, I am not sure if I can successfully get promoted by next year and make the jump. To do so, I heard there needs to be 2 EE (for this half and next half).
