Want to focus on solution design work. Possible to move and make more?

I know architects who make that, just gotta find the right company. Hedge funds, high funded startups, major tech companies and so on. I’d say you can make up to 180 at the right company

Christ with 12 years experience you should easily make M or SM at most major SI firms and get a better offer. If SM you could be close to 2.

Anyone have any sense of the Franchise market right now? I feel like I am constantly seeing big law job ads, and I’m wondering if the grass is greener but also enjoying my newish role at a lifestyle firm. Other than compensation and benefits no reason to consider the jump but I don’t even have health insurance and I am only making low six figures. I am about five years out and have a good reputation with clients who have worked with larger firms...wonder if any big law firms would let me wfh.

I see a lot of LinkedIn posts about how we are all shopping offers and how this should be stopped. What do you all say? I feel like in case they feel it's a "crime", HRs should not proceed if we say I have a standing offer in the beginning itself. Only firms can poach people who join for lesser salary (even though market standards say otherwise) but we can't seek for better offers?
