Question for funds folks, since no one is around to answer any questions and I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund? Like, I assume that they are paid based on the level of the candidate that they bring in, but how are their incentives ALIGNED?
