I’m a fresher and have recently completed my internship as an Operations manager at Amazon. I am currently looking for FT opportunities. I came across and opening at Maersk for the role of Business Analyst. Could anyone refer me for the role or maybe point me to a suitable opportunity?
thanks!

You get a six figure salary and stock in return...
Sure, low six figures in an area with rents around $6K/month and high income tax. What a deal. Also, stock is maybe worth a year's salary then gets cut in half by taxes (so 6 months pay) after working 24/7 for years until exit. You never earn enough to buy a house....maybe not even save enough for a down payment.
Man, I really have an opposite experience from yall. I have a kiddo and animals, 100% remote, good pay and benefits, and I feel like my work is cozy ( getting in is quite difficult, I agree totally and layoffs are terrifying). Those sound like toxic companies, not that it’s the job.
( I’m not in FAANG)
I’d rather not say, but it’s a late stage startup. I’ve worked at a few other companies before this with similar experiences — good colleagues, flexibility, good managers. Again, none in FAANG, but US based
What’s pull request hazing??
Aka bike shedding. If it works shut your mouth and merge it.
I’m sorry that’s been your experience, but I can assure you that it’s not everywhere.
I have 6 kids under 13 in HCOL, 2 dogs, 100% remote, flexible hours, great pay, RSUs, benefits, great work life balance, and my management and teammates are awesome and truly a pleasure to work with.
I also don’t feel like anyone in India is going to take my job. We have many teams there already.
I’m not at FAANG, but still a fairly large well known company with >30k employees.

Get good, enjoy the ride
Pull request hazing?
I had a professor in college that said we would get this done but your job is going to be hard and that's why you'll make a lot of money wipe your tears with your benjamins and get over it
How's that boot taste? I hope your manager is giving you a nice little pat on the head for being such a good dog.
The fact that you toil away to make someone else exorbitantly rich should not surprise you. That's how it works!
You summarised the annoyance of the profession adequately.
When you start looking at other individuals to validate who you are you looking in the wrong place . It's okay to be different and unique.Because we were designed that way. We all can't walk the same lane be who you are and walk in your purpose.
And you can't tell everybody what you know
If anyone can pick-up software development and beat you, you weren't doing much to begin with.
Now, if software development is easy to pick-up, haver you ever checked how easy other careers are to pick-up and how well defined they are?
You just have to be barely sentient and learn the rules of the trade.
