Maternity RN of over 5 years here & I'm getting tired of the stress and hours; I want to look at my options if I do decide to leave bedside as I feel myself becoming very jaded. I've been an educator of my peers in many different ways and on a few different levels as well as doing a lot of patient education. I have been told I may make a good "Corporate Educator", but I do not know what that means and how to start looking for opportunities. Any advice or starting points? (already asked ChatGPT)

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

SM on my project stepped away on paternity leave. SM was the one who led partner discussions and most of the client meetings. We're a week from a client deadline.

As a manager, I'm stepping but incredibly stress with the amount of moving parts. I don't have a strong rapport with the partner (Neither did the SM) to be open and transparent on how stressful I'm feeling without downgrading myself.
