No, the name has to match the aadvantage number, you can't book for another person.
If you are traveling with her on the same itinerary, yes. Otherwise, no
DD response needd clarifiction: - Yes, you can book for her using your points - No, she will not get your priority traveling alone - Yes, if you travel together on the same PNR, she gets to share your priority - Yes, if she travels with you on a different PNR but you contact the airlines to link them, she can upgrade with you.
Thanks DFS. That last point is what I was going for.
EP customer service is pretty experienced with linking PNRs but yeah I've had one time where I had to call and hang up 3 times till someone said sure we can do thay
Make sure you have enough of those stupid coupons they stop giving you at EP.
Thanks DFS1, knew you had my back! 😉
TIL you could link rez after booking. Thanks
I don't think you can link after booking. I've tried this a bunch of times
You can absolutely link res. Trick is to get an AA res agent and not a former US agent.
If you buy her ticket and travel together, same priority as your companion. If a mileage ticket, can't upgrade her.
Also if you link people your combined upgrade priority drops... pretty dramatically IIRC. Anyone?
