I am S&O with MBA lateral move SC TO SC at 150
Yeah there are no Deloitte managers with just 5.5 years experience
Op it takes roughly 6 years to make M at Deloitte. Our SC’s usually equal M at Accenture
SC band is like 100-170k
MBA SC salary starts at 140 from recent experience negotiating. I would start at 170 as your target and work from there.
Just make sure you get enough such that it 1) compensates for your lack of title, 2) the fact that you probably shouldn’t jump again anytime soon so your next raises will be incremental and/or promotion
Which firm are you at now? Why move from M to SC?
ACN- looking at their human capital group. Recruiter validated that SC is prob more realistic. Just not sure how much of a downgrade that is in terms of responsibilities (salary aside). Have about 5.5 yrs consulting experience
Also if you are good, you can go up for M in 1-1.5 years early promo
Ageee above, I am part of our HC practice. Not enough exp for manager but can get there in 1.5 years, we rarely promote in .5 years as you need to build your network with the firm. Coming in at SC is fine and sets you up more for success. At the end of the day, just make sure they pay you well as a title is just a title :)
Agree with D1. IMO- ensure that your salary and level and not too far off.
