Judging by the EY bowl, MBB is about to get an influx of applications from EY “high performers” that are upset their $2k raises have been taken away this year to avoid layoffs.
Lol I am fully utilized / not “riding the bench” and working in a field with a negative unemployment rate at the moment (Cybersecurity), I just think it’s funny all these self-proclaimed ‘high performers’ working at one of the less prestigious B4 firms are salty about not getting EY’s notoriously low bonus this year when the alternative is layoffs.
Im in the same boat. But I feel like its a better option to wait and move at an associate level
Am I wrong?
Networking if you can. Referral system works best. And T2 firms that you mentioned often switch to MBB from what I’ve heard

It’s actually MBBDKPMGLEK now
Not because of that - everyone is a high performer when it comes to looking for a new job
You might lose one level, but I used to see a lot of movement. If you want to be sure, go for an MBA at a target school and get in via campus hire, but should not be required coming from T2.
Probably hard at the moment. Networking route
