I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? Interviewing more, but same bar otherwise in terms of interview performance
The bar to get an interview and the bar to get hired are generally the same - the difference is that we are investing far more people into the pipelines and spending much more effort reviewing profiles. This means the overall number of interviews is going up.
I used to believe anecdotally that it wasn’t true…referred many good ppl no offers (but all interviews), but then see a lot of other ppl who I’m a bit surprised get offers then question myself. The story we’d like to tell is no but the truth is probably that it has gone down a notch (not crazy, but some).
What seems to have gone down a lot in terms of hiring criteria is the school prestige thing, seem to care a lot less about that these days, probably for the better.
Anecdotally, yes I believe the criteria have gone down. Source: I’m starting at one next week. 🤡
Anecdotally, yes. I’ve had four friends—100% of the people I know who applied—-get McKinsey offers in the past six months (two OCR and two experienced hire). At least one shocked me. And I’m surprised just how many Big 4 people on here are reporting MBB offers.
So you are implying everyone at Big 4 are people not smart enough to get into MBB.
