Me, looking at my reflection in a black screen after telling the recruiter I don’t have any awards and the Zoom interview suddenly ending.

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

How often are hiring committees? Does it depend on the group?

Anyone had good multiple offers and had one the hiring managers pressure you into taking the offer after asking for additional time to think about it?

How to respond to the “why are you looking to switch careers?” Question. Have a background as a mfg engr but have an interview for a software QA position . I applied because the company culture and benefits are hard to beat. software QA was the closest position I qualify for.

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

I have to write a self review and I’m having a hard time writing down my achievements without sounding boisterous and the things I want to improve without bringing myself down. Any tips?
