Lived in Tampa (St. Pete) and San Diego (Point Loma). Tampa / St. Pete hands down. Literally almost everything is better except the Mexican food but you have great Cuban food so you can get by… The heat and humidity is no joke in Florida but the beach and water is better than San Diego easily. COL is much better too. Visited Miami. Thought about living there but I think Tampa / St. Pete gives you the same but at a more affordable price and without pretentious people.
Yes, you can find something it that range depending on what you want. I would not recommend my old complex though. I lived in downtown St. Pete. DM if you want more info and/or specifics.
I mean San Diego is a lot more like 2x the housing cost of Tampa. But sure is nice. Is your pay adjusted for COL that would be the big factor in determining where you might want to live from a feasibility factor.
Tampa housing market is out of control but still better than others you mentioned. Tampa is a great place to be right now. Dating market is great. And, most importantly, Tom Brady plays for the bucs.

Yes, between housing prices, sales tax, tax on things california deems taboo and overall COL, it’s more expensive. Now if you utilize TJ, then you can come out ahead
No. K1 just means go shop over there for groceries medicine etc

Love north county area of San Diego - Encinitas. Miami brickell area is sweet and Tampa would be looking at St. Pete

I live in San Diego and it’s definitely more expensive on average. It depends on your lifestyle of course. Does your company adjust pay on location? I get 10% more here than if I was in any city in Florida
Miami probably has more active boats at any time than just about any city in the US so if you’re into boats/water sports it’s great. San Diego is no slacker there either though.
I’m 31M in San Diego and it’s awesome here. North county is boring though, you should live in little Italy.
Hm different. PB has the hot college girls and early 20s. Little Italy has the late 20s and 30s hot and classy ladies 😉
North Park / Mission Valley in SD are perfect in terms of access to everything (<30 minute drive) COL + SDG&E + taxes are pretty killer, although the pros of living in SD are pretty nice too
How much is a one-bedroom apt in San Diego? Average cost for a safe area;15-20 minutes from downtown.
