Nope, you’re poor. Those figures about median households in the US making 70k? It’s all lies by the politicians.
You’re supposed to be making 250k minimum a year in Ohio like the guy above. Actually, I take that back. He’s poor. 300k is what the rest of us have made since we were zygotes.
Yup, that’s good.
Given that only a small percentage of the population makes over $75k, you’re on a great path. It all depends what on if you have children to care for and the type of lifestyle you are attempting to live. Regardless $90k is very strong.
“In Toronto, a monthly net salary between C$3,500 and C$4,500 is considered a good wage for a single person. This corresponds to an annual gross salary of above C$55,000. A good earner is everyone getting between C$55,000 and C$72,000 before taxes.”
For 2 YOE based in the GTA, I would say you're in a good position compared to a lot of other people
I'm in the GTA, that seems like a good salary, but I'm not familiar with CSM salaries specifically. This might be a good question for the Toronto bowl. Agreed with the comment about the importance of what you do with your money vs how much you make.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll ask folks in the Toronto bowl for more market-specific insight :)
It’s not that good in tech. I’m 25 at 250k, most of my friends are over that by 25
Guidehouse I don’t pay rent I’ve got a paid off house, prop taxes are 1.1k a year
If you compare yourself strictly on age you’ll get a massive band that won’t make you feel good at all. You need to narrow down the band by being more specific age, job, title, etc.
If you don’t, you’re going to compare yourself with a bunch of people in stem at 150k+ post grad lol
